At every wedding you will get both Brooke and Mikala there capturing the big scene and the small details. Together, as a team, we have honed in on capturing every part of your day all while being out of the way but also being a friend for you. Hey there!
I am the owner and lead photographer for SmallStream Photography.
I am a mom, to tiny people and animals. I know how to wrangle horses and groomsmen. And I always have treats.
Behind the camera I adore seeing your faces light up as you look at the one you love most. Capturing the little moments is what I live for.
I thrive off of people and I am already your #1 fan girl. I am so excited to show you the beauty that I see in you. Have you ever wanted a best friend that would just always be down to take a photo, get beyond excited at photo op ideas and make sure you look amazing every single time? It's me. I'm her.

I’m a mom to a puppy and wife to a human. I am a massage therapist by trade with a passion for people that translates into photography so perfectly.

I have fallen for photography and specifically for capturing little moments that reflect the love you have for each other. It’s my joy to do the hard, behind-the-scenes work so that you can truly enjoy your moments! When working with SmallStream, I encourage you to view us as more than your photographers. We have no issue running to grab something your forgot, picking you up a coffee, or even just chatting about your excitement! We love our clients!

We've seen it all. All of the good and the bad. We are equipped and prepared for every scenario from our gear to our personalities, we are always ready.
We also aim to stay out of the way. We want to be your wedding day bestie but also a fly on the wall. We never will rush you to the next photo, rather we will work with you ahead of time to make sure the schedule leaves room for whatever you need. During the ceremony we want you to be the focus, not us. But during the reception catch us on the dancefloor bustin' a move to get those memories on film.

FLEXIBLE DAY

Having us for half of your day is intended to cover all of the important moments! There is no true time or hour stamp. We simply arrive the last hour of getting ready to capture the finishing touches and get into details and portraits. We follow all of the same timeline of proposal one but we will leave after 1 hour of reception dancing. This means That we will be there for the toast, the special dances, cake cutting and everything in between!

We are committed to capturing the essence of your day no matter how long we are there. The packages we offer are thoughtfly planned. After years of wedding photography we have decided that capturing the essence of your entire day is what inspires us to do what we do. Our art is found in the details. These two options ensure that we capture not just a photo but the memory of your special day.

SmallStream Photography only takes a number of weddings a year. Once we hit our number we close our books. We do this so that we can fawn over our couples and be there exclusively for them.

This is the only package with a time stamp. This proposal covers all of the staple pieces of your wedding day! Arriving just in time to put your dress on and leaving after your first dance.
Total hours: 5 - this 5 hour window can be moved around however best fits you and your schedule and what is important to you.
